THE BRENTWOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD: Vibrant, Emerging, and Connected

Brentwood, in North Burnaby, has emerged in recent years as a truly compelling place to live. More and more people are looking at the neighbourhood as a great option for a new home.

In fact, Ledingham McAllister had a lot to do with it. The communities of Brentwood Gate and Memento – landmark collections of quality low-rise (and some high-rise) homes – have elevated the whole area, and added a new layer to this great neighbourhood.

Naturally, a big part of the draw is the area’s ideal North Burnaby position. Downtown Vancouver is just 20 minutes away by SkyTrain, and 15 minutes’ drive by car.

But this is no bedroom community. Brentwood itself has a character all its own, with plenty to do and see, and it only promises to get better. Everything you need is here. Brentwood Town Centre is a three-minute walk away, with tons of shops and services at your disposal. Costco is a quick jaunt from home.

When it’s time to kick back and play, Confederation Park and Community Centre, just up Willingdon Avenue, has a full aquatic centre (and water park!), sports fields, and a fitness centre. For some time in the fresh outdoors, Deer Lake Park and Burnaby Lake Park are right nearby.

There are lots of schools near here, as well: Brentwood Park Elementary and Alpha Secondary School are here, and SFU and BCIT are right in the neighbourhood.

Brentwood has its fair share of culture and unique character too. Restaurants like Pear Tree and Bombai Bhel bring a true local flavour, and unique dining experiences to the area. Up on Hastings, Italian institution Cioffi’s Market and Deli has been a family favourite for years, serving up rare quality cuts and authentic Italian fare.

Brentwood is a neighbourhood unto itself, even though it is only a few minutes away from downtown Vancouver. This is an excellent place to be.

Perspectives, with a brilliant view of everything near and far, is an excellent home from which to enjoy it. Best of all, you will be able to enjoy it this year.
